I read a comment on an old YouTube video from 2008. It was just someone saying 'cool video'. Now the same type of post has a thousand replies arguing about everything.

Back then internet forums had a nicer vibe. My local group chat exploded into a huge fight about parking spaces last month. People just want to argue over nothing now.

Was it really better or just different? People have always loved to argue over small things. The internet just puts all those dumb fights on display.
