Saw a guy get ripped apart in the comments of a carnival ride video and I had to log off for a week
So there was this video of a ride at the Ohio State Fair that stopped mid air with people stuck upside down for like 20 minutes, and the top comment was just a lady saying 'that's why I don't do rides.' Within an hour she had 300 replies calling her boring, broke, scared of fun, all of it. Then someone dug up her profile pic and started roasting her teeth. I sat there reading every single reply for way too long and felt gross after. Now I close the app the second a comment section turns into a pile on. Does anyone else bail when it stops being jokes and starts being hunting people down?

I see it different, bailing every time just hands the loudest jerks the whole room and the normal folks all leave. The teeth thing is trashy for sure, but one dumb comment getting piled on is kinda the deal you sign up for when you post in a huge thread.
