Pro tip: stop imaging every drive before a reinstall, a customer in Baltimore changed my mind
I used to image every drive before touching a machine, no matter what, because a guy at my old shop said you are asking for a lawsuit if you skip it. A customer in Baltimore brought in a laptop for a simple reinstall and asked me to skip the image so she could get it back the same day, and I did it, and it saved me 3 hours. Now I only image when there is real data at risk, so what is your cutoff for when an image is worth the time?
