That fancy self-leveling sealant I tried last spring ended up costing me about $400 in rework and materials because it never actually leveled right on a warm day.

I grabbed a bucket of the stuff from a supplier in Renton and figured it'd save time on a garage floor pour, but it just sat there all tacky and thick so I had to grind it off and redo the whole thing with a cheap local brand that worked fine, has anyone else had bad luck with those premium sealants?

Yeah that stuff is garbage, had the same issue with mine lol

Man that's exactly what happened with mine too! I thought I was the only one who had such a rough time with it. First week it worked okay but then it just started acting up and never really recovered. I tried everything to fix it but nothing seemed to help in the long run. Pretty frustrating when you spend money on something that just doesn't hold up.
