Watched a slab in Phoenix go from glass smooth to a goat trail in 40 minutes
We poured a 40x60 pad in Phoenix back in March and had it looking like a mirror by 8am. Crew of four, 12 yards, everything dialed. Then the finisher on the power trowel jumped off early to take a call and by the time he got back the surface had set up enough that we couldn't work the edge without tearing it. The whole east third has these drag marks now that the GC wants ground out. How do you all handle guys who treat a trowel pass like a smoke break, or do I just eat it and grind?
