Hit 100K followers and felt NOTHING, but a 12-comment post got me shaking

I run a small channel about urban exploring and I finally crossed 100K followers last Friday. I watched the counter tick over and honestly, it was like checking a weather app. But two days later I posted a grainy photo of an old fallout shelter door from a spot in Cleveland, and got 12 comments from people who actually recognized the area. Those 12 comments gave me more chills than 100K strangers ever did. Is it that big numbers feel fake, or that small, specific engagement feels real? Which side do you guys land on, do you trust the crowd or the few who really get it?

Eh, you're overthinking a dopamine spike. Numbers are just numbers, comments are just comments.
