Three years of denial about chemtrails, one storm broke it
Last month in Phoenix I watched a plane leave a trail that just hung there for 40 minutes, then the sky turned weird orange before a dust storm hit. I always figured the chemtrail people were nutjobs, but seeing that pattern persist while the weather flipped made me actually look up flight trackers. Has anyone else had a real-world event push them off the skeptic side?
The part that does not add up is the 40 minute thing. Contrails can last that long when the air up there is cold and wet, and it is actually a sign of coming weather, not chemicals. What you saw is called a persistent contrail and it happens way more before storms because the sky is already full of moisture. So the trail hanging there and the dust storm hitting later are kind of the same story, both come from a wet, unstable air mass moving in. The orange sky is just dust and light, nothing to do with the plane. I get why it freaked you out though, timing like that feels spooky until you know what you are looking at.
