Warning: my uncle in Tulsa swore the moon landing was faked, then bet me $500 and lost
My uncle has been into conspiracies for as long as I can remember, and back in 2019 he told me he had proof the whole Apollo program was shot in a warehouse, and he was so sure he bet me $500 on it. I sat with him and went through his folder of printed photos, and half of them were just low res images with arrows drawn on them, and the rest didn't even match the mission dates he claimed. He got quiet, paid me in cash, and never brought it up again. Since then I've started asking people for the actual source before I believe anything. Has anyone else had a family member go quiet once you looked at their evidence together?
