Rant: Procore crashed mid-inspection and cost me a whole afternoon

Last Tuesday I was doing a final walkthrough on a 12-unit apartment job in Austin. Halfway through checking the punch list, Procore froze and then dumped all my changes. I had to redo 3 hours of work from scratch. Their support said it was a sync issue with the offline mode, but I've had this happen 4 times this year already. I switched to using a paper backup for critical inspections now. Has anyone else had their software eat their progress like that?

...and that's why I keep a little notebook in my truck now, half the time I can't even read my own handwriting but at least it's mine. Procore ate my punch list three times last spring, finally I just started doing the walkthrough on paper first, then typing it all in once I'm back at the desk with a beer. The app's great right up until it decides your afternoon doesn't matter, and their support always sounds like they're reading from a script about the weather.

Paper backup is the real safety net, @wright.lisa. The app can crash all it wants but it can't smudge a good old fashioned coffee stain on a legal pad. Their support script must have one line for everything: "Have you tried turning your day off and on again?
