Sitting on a wet foundation last week made me rethink my entire workflow

I was checking a pour during a rain delay and realized I had no way to quickly update the team on site conditions... my paper notes got soaked and useless. Now I'm looking for a software that lets me log field issues from my phone even with wet gloves. Any recommendations for something that works in crappy weather?

Rite of passage" is right - I've been there with dissolving paperwork more times than I can count. What ended up working for me was just using the voice memo app on my phone and transcribing later. Way easier than trying to type with wet fingers or screen that doesn't register your taps right. Your mileage may vary but it kept my info dry and my hands warm.

Ha! I feel your pain, literally. Wet paper notes turning into mush is basically a construction site rite of passage at this point. You're out there trying to be professional and Mother Nature just laughs at your soggy clipboard. Honestly, most field apps work fine with wet gloves since they're all tap and swipe. I'd just look for one that lets you dictate voice notes instead of typing, saves you the hassle of peeling off gloves every two minutes. Your phone screen might hate you for it, but at least your workflow won't turn into a wet sponge.
