Found a trick for picking up wet loads with a lattice boom
Was struggling with a wet concrete panel on site in Houston last month that kept slipping. Tried wrapping the choker with a piece of old fire hose and it grabbed perfect. Anyone else use something weird for grip on slick loads?

Calling this a "trick" is a stretch, it's just wrapping a hose around a strap. I've seen guys try worse stuff on site and it usually ends up causing more problems than it solves. The fire hose thing might work for a panel but it's not some magic fix for every wet load situation.
