I used to think those fancy load moment indicator systems were just a gimmick until mine caught a bad rigging angle on a 12-ton lift in Tacoma last month.

Has anyone else had a close call where the tech saved you from a major mistake?

So you're telling me a computer is better at catching your screw-ups than your own eyes? That's both awesome and a little sad for the whole "years of experience" thing. My old foreman would have called that tech a snitch, then bought it a beer after it saved the crane.
