Just realized I spent six months on one blog post...

I started this deep-dive article last fall... wanted it to be perfect. But every time I sat down to write, I found more to research. The deadline kept pushing back... clients were waiting. Finally published it yesterday, and the response has been quiet. Maybe I overthought it? How do you balance depth with getting things out there?

Yeah, overthinking kills momentum... set a hard deadline next time.

Ever catch yourself tweaking small details nobody will notice? I force myself to stop once the main goal is met, because that's when progress happens. A hard cutoff time saves so much mental energy.

My mom always says you can keep adding spices to the soup forever, but at some point you just have to serve it. I see this same thing with side projects or even cleaning the garage, you keep finding one more thing to do. Kevinp56 is right about hard deadlines, but for me it's about accepting that 90% done and out the door is better than 100% perfect and stuck in my head. I've ruined a few hobbies by over-preparing instead of just starting.
