The before and after on my first YouTube video was wild to look back at
My first video got like 200 views in a month. I was just talking over gameplay with zero editing. Fast forward to video 50 about 8 months later and that one hit 12k views in a week. What changed was I finally started trimming the dead air and adding a quick hook in the first 10 seconds. I also stopped trying to sound like a TV host and just talked normal. The jump came after I watched a video from a creator with 500k subs who broke down their pacing. Anyone else notice a big spike after you changed up your editing style?
