Best week on a build site, then the worst Friday ever

Last spring we were framing a house outside Austin, and everything just clicked for four days straight. The lumber delivery showed up exactly when we needed it, my crew hit every wall square, and we even finished the ridge beam a day early. Then Friday morning the foundation guy backed his truck into the main power line, killed everything on site, and we lost the whole day waiting for the utility company. My question is, do you folks plan for that kind of random disaster, or do you just roll with it and eat the delay like we did?

Power lines are just the site's way of saying "break time.
