Overheard a couple arguing about their custom home's 'energy vortex' at the hardware store

I was helping a customer find a specific type of door hinge last week when I overheard a couple in the next aisle. They were having a full-on debate with their architect about needing to shift their entire floor plan by 18 inches to avoid a 'negative energy vortex' their psychic had identified on the property. The architect kept trying to explain load-bearing walls, but they were adamant. It made me wonder how often builders have to work around truly unusual client requests that aren't in the code books. What's the most out-there special request you've had to accommodate in a custom build?

What's wrong with wanting good energy in your own home?

Five hundred bucks on rocks while the sink is still broken? That's the part that gets me. Owens.nina's friend has her priorities in a wild order. Wanting good vibes is fine, but maybe fix the actual problem first.

My friend spent 500 dollars on crystals to fix the vibe in her apartment. Her sink still leaks and her roommate is still a jerk. It's just a feeling, not a broken window. People act like bad energy is the same as a safety issue. Makes it hard to take seriously.
