Talked to my framer about foundation prep and it completely changed how I spec my build sites
He told me he spent 3 extra days on one lot because the soil compaction report was off by a foot. Now I always pay for the deeper soil test before pouring anything. Has anyone else dealt with surprise soil issues halfway through?

That's brutal, one bad dirt report can eat your whole profit margin and then some.

Three extra days because a compaction report was off by a foot. That's a whole week of labor and materials down the drain over some dirt. Wild.
