I switched from using the same password everywhere to a password manager about a year ago. My number of security alerts dropped from maybe one a month to zero.

My friend works in IT and she said most data breaches happen because people reuse passwords. A password manager basically stops that whole problem in its tracks. It's wild how such a simple change makes such a big difference.
