One comment on my password habits changed how I handle every account now

Last month someone in a thread pointed out that my 'strong' passwords were all just variations of the same base word. I thought I was being clever but they were right, one breach and they could guess the rest. Spent a weekend setting up a password manager and generating 16 character random strings for each site. It took maybe 2 hours total and now I actually sleep better knowing my bank login isn't 'hunter2-2024'. Has anyone else had that moment where a stranger's criticism turned out to be the best advice you got all year?
