PSA: my password manager glitched and locked me out for 6 hours yesterday

I was trying to log into my bank account yesterday morning and my password manager just wouldn't autofill. Turns out the sync between my phone and laptop broke somehow and it reset my master password vault. Had to go through account recovery which took like 4 calls to support before they believed I was me. Has anyone else had this happen with their manager and found a way to back things up better?

Man, that sounds like a real headache. Six hours locked out of your bank is no joke, glad you finally got through to them. I keep a handwritten list of my important passwords in a fireproof safe at home, just in case the tech goes south on me like that.
