Question about switching from a password manager to a physical security key
I argued with my friend in Denver for months that my password manager was enough, but after he showed me how a $50 Yubikey could stop a phishing attempt cold, I bought one last week and it's already saved my main email account.

Wish I had your friend... mine just laughed when I told him my "uncrackable" password was my cat's name plus 123. Took getting locked out of my own Netflix to finally listen and get a key.

Used to think my password manager was all I needed. My buddy in Denver kept pushing security keys and finally showed me a real phishing demo. Grabbed a Yubikey and it blocked a login attempt on my email two days later. Totally worth the switch.

Always figured a strong password was enough. @joelh64 your story about the phishing demo is eye opening. Had a similar moment when my bank account almost got hit last year. Now I tell everyone to get a key, it's the only thing that actually stops those fake login pages. Makes you realize how easy it is to trick someone into giving up their master password.
