Hit 12 months of working from hostels, my setup finally works

Back in 2022 I was that guy with three bags, a full monitor, and a broken laptop stand in Barcelona. Now I'm down to one 14-inch backpack with a foldable keyboard and a phone mount. Took me a year and four hostels to figure out what I actually use daily. Anyone else trim their gear after a specific trip or did you keep the heavy stuff?

Honestly took me about six months of couch surfing before I ditched the second bag and extra shoes. That first trip where I carried everything up four flights of stairs in Lisbon fixed my packing real quick.
