Hot take: I got locked out of my Airbnb in Medellin at 2 AM with a dead phone.
My keypad battery died and I had to walk 20 minutes to find a cafe with an outlet, then wait for the host to reply. Has anyone else had a total tech fail in a new city?

Oh man that's the worst kind of modern travel nightmare. You just know the host is sound asleep while you're standing there like a chump. Honestly the universe was just testing you, next time you'll probably pack a power bank the size of a brick.
