Hot take: I started using a $12/month virtual mailbox in Lisbon and it fixed my mail nightmare

I was missing important tax docs because I kept moving, but this service scans everything and emails it to me. Anyone else have a solid system for dealing with snail mail while you're always on the move?

That "hoping they forget" plan is how I ended up with a penalty one year. I switched to putting a bit aside from each paycheck automatically, and it saved me the last-minute panic. It's not a perfect system, but it beats crossing your fingers.

My system was basically just letting mail pile up at my mom's house until she started texting me pictures of envelopes that looked scary. That virtual mailbox thing sounds way smarter, lol.
