That 'just post every day' advice wrecked my engagement for 6 weeks

A creator with 200k followers told me to ignore quality and just push out 2 posts a day. I did that for 6 weeks straight, and my views dropped from 4k average to barely 700. The algorithm clearly punishes rushed content, but nobody in these circles admits it because they sell courses on consistency. Has anyone else seen their numbers tank after following the daily posting push?

The part about "nobody admits it because they sell courses on consistency" really hit home for me. I used to be one of those people who swore by the daily grind, thought any content was better than no content. But I tried a similar push earlier this year, just throwing up quick posts to keep the streak alive, and my numbers did the exact same nosedive you described. Took me almost two months to climb back to where I was. It made me realize the algorithm isn't punishing the frequency, it's punishing the lack of thought behind the post. People can tell when you rushed something, and they just scroll past it, which teaches the system your stuff isn't worth showing. I'd rather post once a week with something real than spam daily with filler.
