A stranger's comment on my callout thread flipped my whole stance

I spent 2 hours arguing with someone on a TikTok beef breakdown about who was at fault, but they pointed out the original screenshot was cropped and once I saw the full context from the other creator's story, I realized I'd been defending the wrong person the whole time.

damn that's wild! honestly same thing happened to me once on reddit. spent forever going back and forth then someone dropped the full pic and i was like oh no. it's humbling but now i always ask for the og context before i pick a side.
