That $40 deep fake voice filter made my friend group implode
I bought this cheap voice cloning app to prank my buddies, and it sounded so real I got one of them to admit to cheating on his girlfriend during a group call. Now two people aren't speaking and everyone's pointing fingers at me for even touching it. Anyone else find that these filter tools always backfire harder than they're worth?

Wait, he actually ADMITTED to cheating because of the fake voice? That is WILD. Like I get that the clone sounded real but your buddy still made the choice to open his mouth and confess. That part is on him, not on the app. You messed with fire though, a $40 toy just blew up a whole friend group and that is a lot of damage for a prank.
