That $40 deep fake voice filter made my friend group implode

I bought this cheap voice cloning app to prank my buddies, and it sounded so real I got one of them to admit to cheating on his girlfriend during a group call. Now two people aren't speaking and everyone's pointing fingers at me for even touching it. Anyone else find that these filter tools always backfire harder than they're worth?
