Still dont get why anyone uses those pre-mixed buckets on big jobs
Worked a basement in Columbus last week, 2000 square feet. The other guy on the crew kept grabbing the pre-mixed stuff for the taping coats. Took him twice as long to get it smooth, plus we had to haul like 12 buckets down the stairs. I mixed my own from powder, same day, zero drying issues. I know it's easier for small patch work but on anything over a single room, powder wins every time. Am I missing something or do others see the same thing on larger patches?
