My brother-in-law's DIY outlet install had us laughing for days.

He tried to replace a living room outlet without turning off the power. Sparks flew, and now he owes me a new screwdriver.

Oh man, I feel that. Been there with a light fixture, lol. At least he only owed you a screwdriver and not a whole new house.

Tape measures are the worst for never coming back. My neighbor borrowed mine to hang curtains three months ago and I'm still waiting. It's always the small, useful stuff that walks away forever.
