Had a tiny ceramic capacitor fly off my tweezers and vanish into the carpet at my workbench

I was replacing a 100uF cap on an old audio board yesterday, and the new one slipped from my tweezers. I heard a faint 'tink' and it was just gone. I spent a good 15 minutes with a magnet (useless, I know) and a flashlight before I gave up and grabbed another from stock. Has anyone else lost a part to the carpet monster, and what's your best trick for finding them?

My carpet has eaten more small parts than my vacuum cleaner ever will.

Honestly your carpet sounds like a tiny part graveyard at this point.
