Hit 500 logic board repairs this month and it got me thinking about quantity vs quality

I just crossed 500 logic board repairs in my home shop outside Denver. Halfway through I noticed my success rate dropped from 92% to 84% around the 300 mark because I was rushing to hit numbers. The other half I slowed down and got picky about which boards I took on, and my rate climbed back to 90%. So which matters more to you guys in this trade - how many repairs you do or how well you do them? I'm still trying to decide where I land.

I started tracking fix rates by board type after a similar drop. Really helped me figure out which ones were worth my time and which ones I should just pass on. Quality took a hit when I got greedy with volume, so now I cap how many I take in a week.

That "greedy with volume" part hit close to home for me lol. Ever notice how tracking boards by type also reveals which time of day gives you the best quality fix anyway?

Tracking boards by time of day is the real secret sauce people sleep on. I found late morning posts give me the best quality fixes, but evening boards get flooded with junk nobody wants to touch. Did you notice a specific window where the good ones show up, or does it shift depending on the board type? Seems like the ones posted right after lunch are either pure gold or total waste, no in between.
