Update: My steamer hose blew a hole during a facial yesterday

It was a basic $150 unit from a beauty supply store, about 8 months old. I had to wrap it with electrical tape just to finish the service. Anyone know a brand with better quality hoses that won't fail like that?

Honestly, I'd be scared of more steam escaping and burning someone. Those cheap units are such a gamble, they work fine until they suddenly don't. You should look into buying just a replacement hose from a medical supply company, they're built for actual sterilizing steam.
