Switched from printed flyers to QR codes at my last 3 events
I used to hand out thousands of flyers at trade shows in Dallas... then realized maybe 2% of people actually scanned the QR codes I printed on them. Now I just put a big QR code on my booth backdrop that links to a signup page, and I've gotten 150 leads in one day that way. Has anyone else found a better method than physical handouts?

that 2% scan rate is brutal, I feel that. what worked for me was putting the QR code right next to the freebie table so people have a reason to pull out their phones. a simple "scan this for a free drink ticket" doubled my signups overnight.

I saw a study that said people ignore QR codes unless there's an incentive tied to them.
