Hey guys, looking to finally tune my 3.5L Ecoboost. I mostly use it as a daily driver but occasionally tow a small camper on weekends. I'm torn between 5 Star Tuning and MPT Tuning. I've heard good things about both but wanted to see if anyone here has firsthand experience comparing the two. Which one would you go with?

I'll second 5 Star Tuning. Their customer service is top tier too. When I got my SCT device from them, I had a dumb question about loading the tune and they walked me right through it on the phone. MPT makes good stuff, but 5 Star is just a better all-around package if you aren't strictly building a track truck.

I actually ran both on my previous truck. MPT is super aggressive, which is fun if you just want to rip around town, but the shifts were a little too harsh for my daily commute in stop-and-go traffic. I ended up switching to 5 Star Tuning and it was night and day for daily drivability. Smooth power delivery and their towing tunes are absolute magic.
Totally agree on the shift points. 5 Star's transmission tuning is basically perfect right out of the box. No weird clunking when downshifting to pass on the highway.
