Swapped my manual boost controller for a piggyback tuner last month

I used to spend hours messing with a boost controller on my F150, trying to get the power curve just right, but I kept getting knock in humid weather. Then a buddy in Denver swore by a piggyback tuner, and after 2 weeks of tuning maps from my laptop, the truck feels way more consistent. Has anyone else switched from manual adjustments to electronic tuning?

Just learned that gapping spark plugs closer than factory spec actually helped my turbo 3.5

I kept getting misfire codes on my EcoBoost after installing bigger turbos and trying to push more boost. After three trips to forums and a chat with a local tuner in Phoenix, he said to gap them down to 0.028 instead of the stock 0.032. I pulled the plugs Saturday, regapped them all with a feeler gauge, and the truck pulled clean through 5,000 RPM without a hiccup. Has anyone else experimented with tighter gaps on high boost setups?

I finally stopped overdoing my intake spacer after a dyno day

I was running a 3 inch spacer on my 2018 5.0 for over a year because I figured more air was always better. A buddy at a shop in Phoenix told me I was losing low end torque by pushing the intake volume too high. You ever get feedback that made you totally change your setup midstream?
