Stuck deciding between a 93 octane tune and a cold air intake for my 2018 5.0

I really wanted to wake the truck up without a huge project. I went with the 5 Star 93 Performance tune after reading a bunch on the forums. The throttle response is way better now, and it feels like a different truck around town. Anyone else try both and have a strong opinion on which gave more bang for the buck?

So you're saying I could have just tuned it instead of dropping a grand on an intake and still feeling slow? That's a real gut punch. I did the intake first for the cool noises, but the tune was the real game changer for power.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it goes... the intake sounds awesome and feels like you're doing something, but the car's computer is still holding everything back. Did the same thing on my old car, bought the cool parts first and was kinda let down. Then got it tuned and it was like a whole different vehicle... really woke it up. The noise is fun for sure, but the tune actually uses that extra air you're pulling in.
