Vent: A client told me my shoes were too thick and she was right

I had a client last month who competes in dressage. She looked at my work and said the hind shoes were raising her horse's heel too much. I measured and she was right, I was putting on a size 3 shoe when a size 1 would have worked. I switched to a lighter shoe and trimmed the toe back a bit more now. Has anyone else had a rider call out something small that made a big difference?

Uh yeah who cares she's the one riding the horse.

Ignore the haters, Joel. Riding a horse takes a lot of skill and trust, it's not like she's just along for the ride. You make it sound easy, but that animal can weigh a thousand pounds and has a mind of its own.
