Spent $800 on a moisture meter for a big glue down job and it saved the whole project.
We were laying a full roll of vinyl plank in a basement that felt a bit damp. The old concrete slab looked fine, but the meter showed a reading way over the limit. We had to stop and bring in a dehumidifier for two days before the numbers dropped. Has anyone else had a meter catch a problem you couldn't see or feel?

Honestly just started putting a little bit from each check into a separate account. Out of sight, out of mind. That automatic transfer is the only reason I had cash for my car's new tires last month. Felt good not to put it on a card for once.
