New pest hitting local lilies is getting worse

My last batch was ruined, and I've heard from three other shops with the same problem.

Oh great, bugs wrecked my roses last summer too!

Seems like every season there's a new bug scare that blows over quickly. Four shops having trouble doesn't mean it's a big outbreak, just a bad patch. People tend to panic before we know the full story.

Man, I totally used to think that way too. What changed for me was seeing how fast it spread from just a couple places to my whole block last year. It started as a 'bad patch' and turned into a months long nightmare. That's why I take these early reports seriously now.
