inBolt torque patterns on steel connections. Why the specific order?
Nah, gotta disagree on this one. Seen plenty of flanges tightened in a circle with no issues. Applying torque slow and even avoids warping. The star pattern just adds extra steps for most jobs. Basic guides overthink it sometimes.

inDealing with moldy walls made me rethink vapor barrier use.
But what if felt paper actually blocks more wind and rain in harsh weather? Those breathable wraps can get damaged easy by sun or nails, letting water in. In lots of older homes, the felt held up fine because the siding had enough gaps to dry. Maybe the problem isn't the paper, but how tight modern walls are built without enough venting.

inAfter a cable broke on a ride, I wonder if we should replace them all early.
Honestly Gavinbaker has a point, it's not like the whole park is held together with old shoelaces and hope. They check these things for a living. Might as well replace every car on the road because one got a flat tire. Next we'll be replacing the entire roller coaster because a bolt got rusty, and my ticket will cost as much as my rent.

inAppreciation post: That blue sedan with plates ending in 7JK keeps showing up
When you said it's creeping you out, I get it because my friend had a similar thing with a red SUV. He was sure it was following him until he saw the driver was just a coworker living nearby. @sarah_torres6 is right to check the details, but most times it's just a coincidence from shared routes.
