Noticing how much packaging we throw away got me saving my broken glass

I used to sweep up cracked pieces and toss them without thinking. Now I crush them for cullet to mix into new colors, and it feels way better.

Cool idea, but crushed glass needs to be really clean for cullet or it can mess up new batches. Don't forget safety glasses when you're smashing it.

Nothing beats watching internet tutorials turn reasonable adults into hazard factories. They'll spend twenty minutes washing bottle labels off but won't put on the two dollar glasses from the hardware store. Real "what could go wrong" energy while making sharp confetti. Guess some folks just want to find out the hard way why we have those warnings.
