Just realized my old caulk gun was costing me time on every job

I used a basic hardware store gun for years, but my buddy lent me his Dripless Pro model last month. The smooth release and no drip tip let me seal a 12-foot window in half the time, with way less cleanup. Anyone have a favorite brand that holds up to daily use?

Ever notice how the right tool just makes the whole job feel different? It's like when you finally get good work boots and your back stops hurting at 2pm. That smooth caulk gun isn't just faster, it changes your whole mood on the job. You stop fighting the stuff and just get into a flow. Makes me wonder what other small upgrades we all put off that would actually make our days better.

Sometimes you just get used to the bad tool and stop noticing the ache. The fight becomes part of the job.

Oh man, that's the truth. A bad gun makes everything a fight. I burned through a couple cheap ones before I landed on my Cox. The thing just doesn't quit, and the thrust plate hasn't bent on me like others do. That smooth action is everything when you're doing trim all day.
