Stopped keeping up with all k-pop social media, now I'm calmer but out of touch. Your mileage may vary, what's your take?

Honestly, this happens with way more than just k-pop. I see friends ditching constant updates for their own sanity. You trade knowing every detail for actually feeling relaxed. That's a pattern worth following in my view. The quiet is better than the noise any day.

Quiet being better than noise, it also lets your own ideas grow. I stopped tracking every tech launch and started tinkering with old gear instead. Found fixes no blog covers because they're not chasing clicks. That deep focus comes from ignoring the constant churn. You end up with something that's actually yours, not just a reaction to the feed.

Watch people proudly quit their online update addiction, then immediately post a ten paragraph review of their new 'offline life' hobby. It's like trading one feed for another, just with more pictures of sourdough starter. @the_barbara has the right idea with the old gear - the stuff that's already broken can't disappoint you with a bad software update. My rule is if it needs a daily login, it's probably not adding real peace.
