I finally pulled out an old meditation CD during a group session

Remember when guided meditations came on discs instead of apps? I brought one to a yoga studio meetup last week. The narrator's calm voice kept skipping, which made everyone laugh nervously. It got me thinking about how much simpler guides used to be. Now I kinda miss those basic recordings, even with the glitches.

That skipping CD laughter is so real. I found one of those in my dad's glove box last month, all scratched up. The quiet parts had this weird crunchy sound like radio static.

Actually... that crunchy sound is kinda cool. Gives the music some texture, like it's been through stuff. Way better than perfect digital files.

I used to hate when CDs skipped, but that static crunch grew on me. Now I kinda miss the character it added.
