Serious question, how do you stop a quick break from stealing your whole afternoon?
I set a timer for a short pause but always hit snooze and get sucked into my phone. Before I know it, hours are gone and my task list is still sitting there. Got any solid advice to fight this time trap?

Move your break spot away from where you work. I used to swear by timers, but they just gave me an excuse to delay. What flipped the switch for me was tying my break to a simple task, like getting water. Now, I make sure my break involves moving my body, which helps me snap back to task mode. Your mileage may vary, but from what I've seen, this cuts down on the phone spiral big time.
