Finally hit 100 people at my weekly meetup at the Flying Star
We started with just five of us back in March, and last Tuesday we had a full room. It's cool to see so many locals wanting to connect. What's a good spot for a group this size if we need more space?

Honestly that's wild, but is it actually 100 different people or just the same regulars plus a few new faces each week? I've seen groups count like that and it's kinda misleading lol. The Flying Star is already huge, if you're filling that up maybe just split into two meetups on different nights?

Yeah I used to think the same way about the numbers, but last month I actually checked the sign-in sheets for the last six meetups. It's honestly around 70% new or one-time visitors each week, which blew my mind. You're right that splitting into two nights could work, but the energy of a big crowd is a big part of the draw now. So @christopher_wells4, it does feel like a legit 100 different people over a short time, not just the same core group.

Right, @luna824 totally nailed it with that 70% number. I did the SAME thing last year for a different group and it was 65% new people every single week. The regulars show up of course, but it's the rotating crowd that keeps it from feeling stale. Splitting up would kill that buzz you get from a packed room. I remember one night we had like 40 people who had never met before and the conversations were INSANE. That energy is exactly what people come for, not just the same faces.
