My uncle told me to always use a 6-inch knife for taping, and I fought him on it for a decade.

Ever try to cut in a ceiling with a cheap brush? I used this flimsy two inch thing for ages, swore it was fine. Then my buddy handed me a fat three inch angled brush, the kind that holds a ton of paint. It was like night and day, one smooth pass and done. Felt like an idiot for all the drips I used to fix.

Finally hit 100 people at my weekly meetup at the Flying Star

Yeah I used to think the same way about the numbers, but last month I actually checked the sign-in sheets for the last six meetups. It's honestly around 70% new or one-time visitors each week, which blew my mind. You're right that splitting into two nights could work, but the energy of a big crowd is a big part of the draw now. So @christopher_wells4, it does feel like a legit 100 different people over a short time, not just the same core group.

My whole setup for growing peppers from seed just gave out on me this morning

Check the power strip first, it's always the simple stuff. Had my entire desk go dark last month because the cat knocked the plug loose. Then try a different outlet with just the tower to rule out a surge. If it's totally dead, the power supply might have given up, that's a common fail point.

Just dropped $80 on a new bone folder and it feels like a total game changer

Read a blog post that said cheap tools cost more in frustration, @anna_ross19. My old one finally gave up during a big shelf build.

Pro tip: I'll take a good old-fashioned scraper over a heat gun for vinyl plank any day

Honestly, calling it a "pro tip" feels a bit much for a scraper preference. It's just a tool that worked for your specific job with that specific glue. I've had the heat gun work fine on other brands where the adhesive was more brittle. Sometimes the right tool just depends on what you're stuck with that day.
