Rant: My barista's cousin got 800k views for a video of her cat knocking over a plant, and now she's doing ads for cat food.

It's not even just pets anymore. I saw a guy get a brand deal for paper towels because a video of him slipping on ice got popular. The bar for making money online is basically on the floor now. You don't need a skill, you just need one dumb clip to catch the right algorithm at the right time. Next thing you know, you're selling mattresses.

Right? My neighbor's dog went viral for stealing a sock and now he's got his own line of treats. It's wild.

Wait, the dog got a whole line of treats? Not just a free bag or something, but his own brand? That's insane. I can't even get my boss to approve a new brand of paper clips. The whole economy feels like it's running on random luck now. Someone's pet does one funny thing and suddenly they're a business owner. Makes you wonder what the point of anything is anymore.
