Spent $47 on a used tripod for my phone a year ago, now a million people know my face

Iris Martinez - Wait, you actually get stopped at grocery stores now? That's wild. But let me ask you something - how many of those people actually watched your original video versus just recognizing your face from reposts? Because I feel like that's the part nobody talks about. Like you plan for one thing to go viral but then the internet just takes your face and puts it everywhere without your permission. Do you ever regret not blurring your face or using a different angle? The tripod part is funny but the privacy part is actually kind of terrifying.

Never really saw myself as someone who would care about that stuff. @alexc93, but after a year of strangers stopping me at grocery stores, I get why privacy actually matters. That $47 tripod paid for itself in ways I never expected.
