Serious question: How long is too long to wait on a client's legal team?

At my agency, we had a big project stuck for two months because the client's legal team kept changing the contract. My boss wanted to set a firm deadline to push them along. But our lawyer said rushing could lead to bad terms later. Now we're debating if patience pays off or if time costs money. What's your take on handling slow legal reviews?
